Prassanna brings to life the timeless art of Dhrupad, blending devotion and musical depth. A senior disciple of Pandit Uday Bhawalkar, he is deeply rooted in the Dhrupad Music tradition.

A former senior scholar at the prestigious ITC Sangeet Research Academy, he has performed widely across India and abroad, sharing the meditative sound world of this ancient form.

An accomplished composer, his work spans documentaries, television, and film—his track Moksha received a Global Music Award in 2023.
